Matthew 7:4
Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?
I had to look a while in Matthew to find an opal, but here it is. And it is right dab in the middle of the section that talks about judging others. I think it is just human nature to judge and that is something that we should very much work on. I know that we do this because our nature always wants us to look better than somebody else that is around us. This we must make sure we are not guilty of! This is why we are reminded in the Bible of what we should and should not do. Have I been guilty of judging, yes. Have you? We must realize that there is only one Judge and His name is Jesus, we also must remember that we will stand before Him one day and give account of the things that we have done and how we have lived. Judging has not been given to us. Now we can inspect the fruit that is on the vines of others, but the only reason we do that is to see where the root of the tree is rooted. You can easily tell my the fruit if the root is found in Jesus. And remember it's not up to us to try and squeeze the fruit either.
