Remember the Covenant with David, and Sorrow for Lost Blessings (A contemplation of Ethan the Ezrahite) I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 89:1
How many times have we heard that song? Do we think about it and why it was written? Think back to David, how he was so blessed by God, yet he stumbles and sinned against God. The great story is how he came back to God and was restored. He loved God and after it was ll over he did what he should - Praised God, just as we should. Not only should we be praising the Lord all the time, we should constatnly remind our children of how great God is! Let them know exactly what He has brought us through and when He blesses us with grandchildren, make sure they know how great God is too!
