Galatians 4:3
So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world.
This is one of those verses that people who are not Christians have a hard time grasping. They never see themselves in bondage. The light bulb will come on after salvation and they will fully understand that bondage, who they were enslaved too and really just how much damamge they did in his name. The children does not mean somebody who was before the teen years, they were that "child", without Christ. Think of how a child acts, temper tantrums, throwing fits when they don't get their way, rebelling against authority...see the picture now. Yes, that is exactly what we were and what we did. If you are a Christian, thank God for revealing Himself to you and helping you to see the TRUTH!
