March 12

Haggai 2:5
'As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear !'

What a comfort that we have! It's easy to get distracted and start to get overwhelmed by circumstances, but we must hold on to this verse. God is abiding in our midst, we must not fear. Know that no matter what goes on or what is happening that we are not alone, God is with us. We must not be afraid of what may lay ahead of us, we must also realize that God knows what is ahead, and He has even allowed it to happen to us, so take a hold of His hand and let Him walk you through it. Remember that God has promised that He is here. If you can't see Him, turn around, you are the one that has walked away. He hasn't left!

  2. God sent me to your blog post as a confirmation about dealing with fear. Lately I have been overwhelmed with it and though I trust in the Lord, I still cling to many of my fears.

Our Bible study class has started the book, "Fearless" by Max Lucado. I believe he wrote the book for me!

Though I am going through many trials at this time, I'm feeling more at peace as I turn each fear over to Him.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my post. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Have a weekend full of blessings!
